HSSD EAST Programs Host "Night Outs"!

Hot Springs School District is one of only a handful of schools in Arkansas to offer the Environmental and Spatial Technology (EAST) curriculum to K-12 students. Gardner STEM Magnet (P-4), Hot Springs Intermediate (5-6), Hot Springs Middle (7-8) and Hot Springs High (9-12) proudly participate in the nation-wide EAST open house held annually to showcase the student projects and share the EAST story.  During the course of the event, students are provided a chance to explain and display their individual or group service-based, technology-infused education to those in attendance.  School staffs, community members, business leaders, media and families always walk away from EAST Night Out with a great appreciation for the student dedication and commitment for their projects.

EAST Night Outs were held for Gardner STEM, HSIS, and HSMS between October 21-29.  HSHS's is scheduled for November 12.
