HSSD Staff Members Ready For 2015-2016.

Hot Springs School District employees filled the High School Mackey Theater on August 11 in a spirited event to welcome new and returning members to the Trojan family and nation.  Marking the first of three professional development days, the event began with Joyce Craft, transitional superintendent introducing the incoming new superintendent, Dr. Mike Hernandez. Each school principal followed suit by introducing their own specific building's new staff.  Cheerleaders lead the crowd with chants and cheers, including "Are You Proud to be a Trojan?  Yes, we are!".  The meeting concluded with Dr. Hernandez presenting his vision for the district, including his philosophy of "Show Character, Communicate Effectively, and Be Customer Focused!"  Also mentioned was the reminder of Hot Springs High School's application for Conversion Charter status.
