Troy Takes Class Act to STATE!

The 2015-16 Trojan Basketball season continues to roll.  Both men's and women's teams engaged in multiple non-conference games and tournaments in preparation for the defense of their 2014-15 5A-South conference titles and eventual return to the state tournament.  This will be the last year of the current basketball conference alignment as the Arkansas Activities Association has combined the 5A and 6A classifications for the 2016-17 year.  Both teams  elected not to participate in the Spa City Shootout, instead the women opting to play in the Lake Hamilton sponsored Kameron Hale Invitational Tournament and the men in the Paris, TX Holiday Tournament. The girls defeated Watson Chapel to take the LH tournament title, while the boys bested Paris, TX High School to capture that tournament championship. The first conference game was January 8, 2016  at Magnolia.
